More Monkeying Around

The monkey stamp and die set I won from May Flaum is being put to good use! I needed to make a birthday card for a young girl which just so happened to match two challenges at Simon Says Stamp! The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is Happy Birthday and the latest challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is For A Child . Brilliant timing!

Because I ended up embossing the Hero Arts sentiment on the front of my card I can also enter this card at the challenge over at A Blog Named Hero.  Their challenge for August is Embossing With Wow .

Here's my birthday card for a child with embossed sentiment:


I made it so that the little monkey can swing around:


Of course I didn't just stop with the front of the card, I decorated the inside too:


This card is just so cute! (Even if I do say so myself!)

      Thanks Lin! Thanks for noticing the embossing, I chose that particular embossing Folder because I thought it might look like part of the jungle.
