Simon says Stamp Monday & Wednesday Challenge - Feminine

NSD has lit a creative spark and I am scrapping up a storm. The weather is getting cooler here so perfect for locking myself away in my craft space. This post is an entry for the challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge which is Feminine. The latest challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge has been updated to the same theme so I will be entering this project for that too here

It is Mother’s Day this weekend so it was a perfect fit for creating for that. Instead of a card, I decided to make an explosion box thanks to my WRMK explosion box tool.  I am certainly getting good use out of that tool. Here’s my feminine explosion box I made for my mum this weekend including a pocket for a gift card - hopefully she doesn’t see this post.

I’m creating for challenges and the latest one is easy over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge as it is Anything Goes. It closes today so I got my project done just in time. I made a box in lieu of a card for a niece’s birthday coming up:

International Scrapbook Weekend

There are lots of challenges happening over this weekend for National Scrapbook Day (NSD). I will link the challenges I participate in here. 

Simon Says Stamp Blog giveaway is to show a recent scrapbook page. This is aTN layout I created yesterday for a challenge put up by a NZ scrapbook company.  The challenge was use flowers or ladybugs. I pulled out circle punches to make the ladybugs - very old school crafting. The background behind the photo is stamped with leaves and flowers   

Supplies:Studio Calico printed TN, stamps unknown, inks Tim Holtz distress oxide, Heidi Swapp calico heart, American Crafts sticker book for the clear flowers and alpha stickers.
